A good natural diet of animal products type food , goes a long way in healing the damage from over processed junk food . Beef bacon and eggs

I would add that everyone is different in what foods cause issues. I routinely encourage people to boost protein and eliminate inflammatory foods (wheat and other glutens), especially Ultra processed foods

I have a young friend from years ago that was suicidal and laying in bed not able to move . With constant talking him away from his voices in his head , I got him walking outside in the sun . Not too much in Sweden , but that and getting him walking to the local kabob shop and the people there befriending him , and stuffing him with beef . He was able to move back to his hometown and re establish weekly visits from his mother . He now can live a couple days without WhatsApp ing every day . And that’s how meat and bacon can turn the tide.

Slave diet you’re referring to? Grass seed flour to feed the masses in cities so the overlords can have meat .

Yes I know that fruit and berries can keep you alive . Many Ancient Greeks ate only fruits.

True. We have chickens, we buy organic, my neighbor raises beef. We cook! We don’t eat out often. They have tried to make it so that we can’t do anything for ourselves. Fix our homes, cars, going to a Dr. to have a splinter removed. Come on folks be responsible for yourself, and your family.

Question for you: how much should parents start this process by addressing their own personal dysfunction?

If your child is getting good therapy, and the therapist is engaging you in the process, you will in all likelihood be confronted by your own dysfunctions. Sometimes parents will benefit from their own individual therapy, and it is a recommendation I have made in the past.

So many factors, and I myself am guilty of the time this endeavor requires. I’m putting bets on time is close to one roadblock. We all want the quick fix, the magic pill or elixir.

To be clear, I'm not advocating for therapy. Just some no-bs time in the mirror.

Yes I hear you on that. A good therapist will help people navigate the BS and take accountability for their own actions and help people make healthier decisions and establish healthy long-term patterns.

Everything that we are dealing with is because of a lack of responsibility for our selves.

How about Respecting them ( in that they have Constitutionally guaranteed civil rights ) & treating them as sentient beings rather than brats to be controlled.
